Dr Raji Ambikairajah | The Pure Collective
The Pure Collective (www.pure.org.au) comprises 6 social enterprises across 3 sectors - hospitality, technology and finance. All profits of each business are directed to charity and as an ecosystem, they are designed to turn every day habits such as buying a coffee or shopping online, into acts of impact. The ecosystem also has a refugee and disadvantaged youth training program called Symbols of Hope, designed to empower those who have fallen through the gaps in society. The underlying principle of The Pure Collective is that despite our differences, the value we create together, is much greater than in isolation.
Dr Raji Ambikairajah has a PhD in electrical engineering and has spent most of her career in the technology start-up and venture capital sectors. As the Chief Executive Officer of the tech start-up, Folo, she has led the launch of a new profit-for-purpose ecommerce platform which has attracted thousands of users and democratises philanthropy, alongside its hospitality venues in Sydney.
Prior to this, Raji was the Chief Operating Officer of Women in Banking and Finance where she accelerated the organisation's growth over a 24-month period to span four cities in Australia.
