Heather is a strategic communications professional with over 20 years experience in education, professional and financial services, government, and media. She has advised CEOs and government leaders on media, crisis communications, issues management and stakeholder relations. For over a decade Heather was a print journalist working at the Daily Telegraph in Sydney, and the New York Post in New York.
In Government, Heather was a senior media adviser to two State Premiers, a Treasurer and Minister and worked on a winning election campaign.
Following corporate affairs roles at Westpac and PwC, Heather is now head of Corporate Affairs at Pearson, Asia Pacific, overseeing internal and external communications and government relations in the region for the world's largest education company.
Heather holds a MA, Strategic Communications, from Columbia University, and a BA from the University of Sydney. She lives in Sydney with her husband, two daughters, two step-daughters and two dogs, and sometimes makes an attempt at exercising.
